Thankfully God cares nothing of religion, neither about professions of faith. Jesus died for all people, there are no exceptions, and Paul himself stated that the free gift of justification came upon all men. So regardless of what you claim to believe and profess, all who live righteously ie feed the poor, clothe the naked and practice charity, Jesus said these wil ...[text shortened]... and ye clothed me not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
(Matthew 25:41-43 KJV) [/i]
For someone who doesn’t hold to scripture as an authority why do you quote it?

To annoy moronic Christians who dont know the bible.

How is the New Covenant different from the Old Covenant in your view?

How do you square what Jesus said in John 11:25, John 8:24 and John 6:40 with your doctrine?

Why did Jesus never ask someone if they had kept the commandments or done good works before He healed them?

Interesting angle.

However, my agnostic atheism is not caused by the shortcomings of any theists' observance of their religion.

Indeed, my own loss of my Christian faith had nothing much to do with whatever hyprocisy or failures one might point out in the behaviour of Christians.
Aceepted.

But I was responding to

"What motivation do you think atheists and other Christ deniers have in arguing against the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Why do they spend so much time doing it?"

I’m not a Christ denier. Neither am I a kobold denier. Neither am I an elf denier. Neither am I a Zeus denier. Neither am I a tooth fairy denier. Neither am I an Easter Bunny denier. Neither am I a werewolf, vampire, and lizard people denier. Neither am I wasting any more time answering your vapid question.

EDIT: Why does it matter to you what I believe? Because the ...[text shortened]... at they no longer have the wherewithall to burn me at the stake for not believing what they believe.
Not all Chrsitan faiths did that Moon, but does seem to have a been a speciality of faiths relating to Catholocism.

Just a book Kelly. I've read the end of the Hobbit.
Not just a book Ghost, but one with prophesy, and argaubly coming true. If you turn to revelation 13:14 you will see references to a great deception; at 13:16 you will see that the The Mark of The Beast follows. if Bill Gates gets his way you are likely to get stuck with this during the coming year.

It was reported on Monday that meetings are being conducted to hand over the West's health policy to the WHO. You should see that bit happen by the end of May.

You do know these are no fault of the religion, but of the humans involved, yes?
You do know that if you ask rhetorical questions to make yourself look clever that you can end up looking like a like a bit of an idiot?

I was asked a question

"What motivation do you think atheists and other Christ deniers have in arguing against the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Why do they spend so much time doing it?"

I was asked therefore to attribute a motive to the action not to discuss it's justification.

Talking snakes are not the foundational point of a created universe simply a tiny next to nothing insignificant piece. A spiritual world carries with it many possibilities, like a cause for the universe itself coming into being, a reasonable explanation to the order in the universe and all the information driving all processes in life. You have no credible explanation for the universe you are in, life and the order around you, and you concern yourself with snakes.

From Eve's perspective it was a talking snake. in reality I think that somebody(thing) was throwing their voice. It's a good decription of the deception.

"Insignficant"? Not so. Your belief in talking snakes is revealing with regard to your mentality and credulity and, as such, it is significant as one weighs the validity of everything else you espouse.
