At human birth we're dichotomous [body and soul]; at the second birth [salvation] the Holy Spirit judicially imputes a human spirit [now a trichotomous human being] which enables the Holy Spirit to teach our human spirit through the human agency of a pastor who teaches accurately from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek in which the Word of God was written. This is the mechanic of God's plan for all believers to grow in grace to spiritual maturity. Haven't a clue as to what "a pastor's vicarious intersession" may mean.

Still is...

Any and all opinions of unbelievers regarding The Lake of Fire or any other doctrine represent little more than inconsequential academic conjecture. For them the issue remains accepting or rejecting God's grace gift of salvation and eternal life.

So ... you DO know your answer to [b]"Do you think that those not "saved" are destroyed, and that there is no eternal torture?" but because of your "priorities" you're not going to say what it is?[/b]
You got a problem with that? Just because this is a public forum doesn't mean I have to tell you everything!

Jeez! 😉

No. God created hell for Satan and the fallen angels.

You should shed the siege mentality and and adopt a more objective attitude. I don't care for bickering. We'll never discover the truth that way! 😕

Are you asking me?

I always give strait answers. The problem is that half the time I'm talking to folks that have a warped understanding of the scriptures.

Is that strait enough for you?

Straight is one of those words I have an issue with. Like the word angles, I mean angels! 😉

This is very odd... yes, very odd indeed divegeester. Because the Bible appears to be saying death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed. But on the other hand, the Bible appears to be saying both death and hell will be destroyed after being cast into the lake of fire.
So yes, I can see how you might be confused...

For some reason, you still aren't being clear. As for your own beliefs: do you think that death is the end for those who don't make it to heaven? Do you think that those who are not "saved" are destroyed, and that there is no eternal torture?
