edit: before you answer consider the two other options for explaining your confusion... you're both a couple of lying sleazeballs, or just plain stupid. I can see how lying might work for dive in a corporate environment, but I have trouble believing he could make a decent living being stupid and/or on drugs.

My observation is about your inconsistency which seems to be triggered by your need to disagree or be seen to disagree with another poster.
When I was a Christian, I believed that followers of Christ could achieve everlasting life and that those who could not achieve that were destroyed and ceased to exist; and that was the end of that.
Can you not be unequivocal about what you believe? Forget divegeester for a moment. What about your beliefs? Do you think there is an eternity of torture in some kind of a "fire" in store for those that don't make it to heaven, or do you think death is the end for them?

OK let's put it another way. If you agree with divegeester, who thinks that death is the end, that those who don't make it to heaven are destroyed, and that there is no eternal torture, why don't you just say so? It appears to be more important to you to act as if you disagree with him, and to suggest that people who disagree with you are "stupid" or "drugged" or are "lying sleazeballs", than it is for you to present your religious beliefs in a principled, clear and consistent way.

And i'm sure he has the utmost respect for you and others who back him up without realizing just what it is you are backing up. Just because he's willing to use you for achieving his goals doesn't mean he's only using you for achieving his goals... he could be planning on using you for something else. Or maybe he's just not very bright either, that could be it.
So forget about it if you haven't already, because all either of you need to do is to hit your reset buttons and start all over again tomorrow... because all you'll be able to remember is how bad I made you feel today.
By the way, seeing as how you believe questions cannot be challenged in any way, what is your favorite color? And if you were a tree, then what kind of tree would you be?
