... Because ... they did no good works. Read the whole thing.
They are cast out because they waited on God to prepare good works for them ... lol

The sheep are given eternal life BECAUSE they did good works. Your church doctrine is rubbish.
Well, those that did no good works were not following Jesus who leads us into good works. Christ leads us into doing good works as His call on us is to love God and each other, it is obeying the Lord's two great commandments. Abiding in the Lord is to obey Him in all things, He gives us His grace and mercy through faith.

You'd have Him holding back His grace and mercy except through doing good works, which would void both grace and mercy! You'd have to replace those words with working towards God's righteousness by earning it through our efforts, not as it is written in Romans 1:17.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Jesus said in Matt 25 ...
All nations will be gathered before him.
All who do good works get eternal life.
All others are cast out.

There are only two groups of people. Not a single word there about who has faith and who does not.

According to you, only Christians can do good works, therefore only Christians can enter the Kingdom of God.

That is completely contrary to what Jesus said.

Depart from me I never knew you is also something Jesus said don’t ignore everything to cherry 🍒 pick the pieces you think prove your point. Those that wrote the Bible were lead by the Spirit of God, He (Holy Spirit) and Jesus are one they never disagree with each other but you push that the writers of the NT don’t have the mind of God, as if the Spirit of God had no part in the written Word.

You act as if your opinion trumps NT writing!

Thanks, you are supporting me ... Depart from me ... , is from Matt 25 again :

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Why? Here is the reason ... For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Jesus said Depart from me, to all who did not do good works.
Jesus knows all those that do good works.

As I said the whole book of scriptures needs to be looked at to glean everything pertaining to any topic or we run the risk to do what you are doing. You select a scripture on a topic make it mean something that conflicts with the rest of Bible and you end up saying unBiblical things like works trumps faith. When scriptures teach it is impossible to please God without faith. You make up as you go, to the point you reject scriptures that contradict your personal beliefs.

Millions of people from the time of Christ to now, have pleased God and have not read a single word of what you call the Bible. The Bible that you claim to be so critical, was only published around 1837. So your conclusion that people need to research and study and glean everything is more of your church rubbish.

Millions of people people have put their faith in Jesus Christ and He became their Lord and Savior. He is a LIVING Hope, He is not a check list theology, neither is Christ someone whose approval we can earn by our efforts, it must be by putting our faith in Christ. You preach Christ and human effort while it is Jesus alone, only He can cleanse our sins!

Millions who put their faith in Christ and do not live according to the commandments with be cast out of the Kingdom of God. I preach what Jesus preached. You preach a false doctrine.

You are saying that those who heard Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount and did not read Pauls save by grace through faith doctrine [in Romans], and who know nothing of the death and resurrection of Christ, neither believe in any such thing, these people are not saved, and therefore cannot see eternal life in the Kingdom of God. According to you Jesus therefore preached in vain.

You say works trump faith, you have God not having grace and mercy instead a works program where we earn our entrance into the Kingdom of God as if the human effort could ever do something so wonderful. You belittle the cross of Christ where Jesus laid down His life for our forgiveness so He could be our propitiation instead He is more like a working foreman who monitors our progress in efforts instead of a Savior, your Jesus is not the one found in scripture but only your head.

Exactly what published Bible do you think I use and do you think I use just one exclusively? You really spout off a lot of things that you have no idea what you are talking about as if the points you make are both relevant and valid.

Rajk999 is a better advocate for his beliefs than you are for yours.

No. Many Christians exclusively use the KJV of 1837 or some other similar translation. I have read more broadly than that... eg The KJV of 1611, which contains 12 additional books and is similar to the Bible of the Apostles. I have looked through many of the old Jewish books.. apocrypha and what they call pseudographia. These books clarify and expand on many of the bible stories and concepts. This naturally gives the reader a clearer picture of what transpired in those days.

You keep using the word scripture / bible as if it were a standard book. I dont use that language. I refer to the teachings of Jesus Christ.. now that is standard and constant throughout all bibles.
