I don't think anything Jesus said is a joke, and you are the only one side stepping here. This question actually has a lot to do with Jesus! For example if you don't have the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead in you, you don't belong to Him. It is a very straightforward passage of scripture.

It also answers another question if you read it, when does God make us righteous, in this life or the next? Note: I'm not a once saved always saved Christian, so this is not the question I'm asking. I do believe you can get right with God and choose to reject Him. Hebrews makes that very clear. So if you can respond to this great, if not I know what to expect.

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

I acknowledge what you have been saying about the Holy Spirit, it was one of the scriptures I shared with you early on. I'm surprised you keep bringing that up since I quoted it at the beginning. Your views about me don't answer the question I put to you. I gathered when I have had to repeatedly ask you about scripture, you again would say something about me personally. So on one side you didn't disappoint you are personally talking about me, but on the other you continue to side step by not answering the questions about scripture once again. I could have sworn you used to say you didn't discuss people personally, but I guess that standard of yours has changed.

The teachings of Christ include Him teaching about faith. Aren’t you the one rejecting his teachings on faith?

I am talking about you because you have claimed that you have Gods Spirit etc and many around here do not. Jesus is saying what the Holy Spirit does. I am not going to examine ever passage about the Holy Spirit from Paul and comment on it.

In a nutshell Jesus's statements about faith is along the following lines: .. Why call me Lord and do not the things that I say .. Proclamations of faith must just be stepping stone towards good works and righteousness. Proclamations of faith by itself mean nothing. Neither is there any guarantee that those with the Holy Spirit will do good works.

What? The fruits of the Spirit are clearly evident. So how do you know that Kelly and the others you have mentioned here simply make proclamations without good works or righteousness?

This is why i rather speak to atheists. Many of you Christians are dunce and stupid. You lack basic reading and comprehension skills. I could bet any money if you ask FMF or Ghost to explain the point I made to KJ about the Holy Spirit they can do it without going back and reading it over.

You are talking about me because you cannot engage and talk to me on the topics brought up. You also are making judgment calls on things only God knows not you, but if someone were to do the same to you, you'd cry foul. You quote Paul to me and now you don't want to talk about what Paul say, so your failing left and right here by all the standards you apply to others.
