@fmf saidI was not trying to be evasive; I simply didn't think you were asking about the topic I was engaging in discussing. I have to say, after giving it some thought, you are right; I'm wrong; I'll answer your questions a little later; sorry for being so elusive while not thinking you were on topic.
On page 49 of THIS thread, you said this:
"I wasn't speaking to the Christian God; I was speaking to the mechanisms in life; a designer could be anything with the capabilities to design both the universe and life".
And I asked you point blank about it and now you are in full evasion mode, three pages of it.

Again? You want me to explain that to you again?
I asked you to not use a question mark.
I see a couple.
I believe matter has always existed, in one form or another. The eternal nature you happily apply to God I apply to the universe itself. I've told you this at least 4 times.
Thankyou.
You're saying the HAS to be something
There has ALWAYS been something.
Brute given, unexplainable.
The eternal nature you happily apply to God I apply to the universe itself.
I got it.
So when the second law of thermodynamics runs its full course and the last black hole evaporates according to Hawking radiation, the last ashes of the last dead star disperse in the black coldness of space, and the last atom decays with all its subunits decaying in the blackness eons from now . . . SOMEHOW that will not be the end of the universe ? Entropy is totally replenished somehow ?
Energy from . . . somewhere is freshly created (from _____?) and some other incarnation of the cosmos will spring into being ?
@sonship saidQuestion marks are required when I ask a question about your dreadful memory.

I'll remember that the next time I have to AGAIN point out to you that you are misrepresenting what I or Witness Lee said. Since you dust off old complaints and put them up again and again, recycled, after being corrected, as if nothing was ever clarified.
@sonship said"If there is enough matter in the universe eventually gravitational forces will stop its expansion. When this happens gravity will cause the universe to reverse its direction and begin to collapse under its own weight. This phase of the universe's life is known as the Big Crunch.

Eventually, all of the matter in the universe will collapse into a super dense state and possibly even collapse into an unimaginably massive black hole. Some theorize that the universe could collapse into the same state that it began as and then blow up in another Big Bang. In this way, the universe would last forever but would continually go through these phases of expansion and contraction, Big Bang and Big Crunch and so on..."

On the matter of dreadful forgetfulness. Do you have the next date you will AGAIN try to portray Lee as saying man joins the Godhead after being corrected probably four times by now?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIf that is the next time you forget you've been debunked, I will preemptively refute you again for the next three future times.
January 12th.
The ultimate purpose of God is to work Himself into us in order that He may be our life and everything to us so that one day we can become Him. But this does not mean that we can become part of the Godhead and be the same as the unique God. We have to know that although we are born of God and have God's life to become God's children, His house, and His household, we do not have a share in His sovereignty or His person and cannot be worshipped as God.

That should be good until spring.
@sonship saidBack in reality, you flounder like a halibut every time Witness Lee is put under the microscope and exposed.

"IF" . . . and in your own words . . .what IF NOT ?
@sonship saidCan you find one other poster to validate that?
@Ghost-of-a-DukeBack in reality, you flounder like a halibut every time Witness Lee is put under the microscope and exposed.
Wishful thinking.
Took you HEAD ON each time.
@sonship saidIf new scientific information comes to light my mind might be changed.

Only you are locked into an archaic way of thinking.
