@kellyjay saidDo you care what I think, because I dont care what you think. Its what Jesus said is the issue here, and clearly you cannot provide a reference for what you said. So my point remains ...
We are saved by God’s grace through faith, you dispute that?
.. Jesus never said he .. save’s those who put their faith into God’s Grace
@rajk999 saidIt is what the WORD says, and the scripture is very clear on this point! You can not justify your claims with scripture, you must ignore what the scripture say in some points, and add things not actually in the scriptures to make them say what you want. You don’t get to play games with Jesus words like you do, neither the words that the Holy Spirit moved someone to write. Each time you do that you prove yourself to be a Heretical liar with half

Ephesians 2
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
@kellyjay saidSo Jesus did not say it .... lol.

You should be concerned that you make statements which you cannot substantiate.
@rajk999 saidDoctrine from the word of God, you admitted that when the Holy Spirit moved a writer ✍️ of scripture that what they wrote would always align with Christ. This again is you delivering half truths, taking away and adding to a clear and plain reading of scripture. What you can not provide is Christ saying something that speaks to the topic that disagrees with that text. No where does Jesus say we are saved by works, He does say we will do them. God gives us good works to do for His glory, while those outside of Christ have other motivations.
So Jesus did not say it .... lol.

You can not have it both ways, either the Word belongs God, or it doesn’t. You are double minded justifying yourself and condemning with the same scriptures you put down. Stop being deceitful own up to your errors before your cut off without any hope of redemption.
@kellyjay saidA true worshipper of the bible you are. You are serving a book and your heart is not with Christ. That book you worship is not in full agreement with the teachings of Christ. For proof of that read Matt 5 and look out for all the parts where Jesus told people 'The Word' said xyz, but I say unto you ... The Pharisees came to him with the bible says this and that and the other. Jesus has no time for bible scholars and they like you will all be cast out if you fail to keep the commandments, all of which can be summed up into one thing love your neighbour. Nobody is required to know any bible teaching. Your bible knowledge is in vain. Charitable love for those around is all that is required.

So carry on with your saved by faith through grace BS !! Jesus is laughing because he never said that to anyone, yet that is all you preach, while hypocritally calling His name.
@rajk999 saidThe God who gave us the scriptures is the one worthy of worship, the Bible is just a book but it is the revealed word of God, which you take or leave as you so desire as if your thoughts about any topic can go against scripture when you feel like it. Instead of molding your views to the truth of the scriptures you play with the scriptures to get out of it what you want, deceiver, you do not have scripture to back up your doctrine, and you have to reject what it says in the Bible to make it fit your perverted views.

"The covenant as we find it in the Hebrew Bible is about life, not about death. It promises, to those who keep it, a long and prosperous life (see, for example, Deuteronomy 6:2, in which one keeps the commandments so that “your days may be long&rdquo😉 rather than an afterlife. In fact, the Hebrew Bible mentions neither heaven nor hell: it speaks of “she’ol,” a dark underworld to which everyone goes after death, regardless of how they acted during their lifetime. There is also only one chapter in the entire Hebrew Bible that refers explicitly to a collective resurrection of the dead in the future (Daniel 12)."

@the-gravedigger saidI’ve never heard that one, why do you believe this?
The Jew believes souls go to heaven to wait around for the Messiah to come down to earth. Then the soul goes back down to earth and is reunited with its body.
@the-gravedigger saidYour analysis would be true for history up until now, especially if the Americans; French; or British are involved LOL
If the meek inherit the earth the strong will take it off them.
However ......... the scriptual promise goes like this
"They will not build and another occupy; They will not plant and another eat [the fruit]. For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen [people] will fully enjoy [and long make use of] the work of their hands!"
Isaia 62:22,
and on that I hang my hat.
@the-gravedigger saidNo

@medullah saidFair comment.

@The-Gravedigger
I suppose broadly speaking that’s right. Scripturally their hope was in the resurrection on earth, and it’s perfectly true that this couldn’t happen until The Christ had turned up. It’s the soul departing and returning that threw me, but thanks for sharing, I like to learn new stuff. 👍
