An apostate is one who has abandoned the truths of God's Word, and replaces them with false doctrine and incorrect interpretations of scripture due to an over exaggerated sense of self righteousness.

The next step from there is being reprobate. A reprobate is one that can no longer recognize the truths of God's Word when he hears them.
Apostasy is any departure from what is accepted as correct teachings.
Paul was accused of apostasy when he preached about Christ.
Paul was departing from the accepted doctrine of the Law of Moses.

The Christian church was apostate when they departed from the teachings
of the Catholic church back in the middle ages.
Now they are accepted

Now that Christian dogma is entrenched in false doctrines eg
- faith only doctrine
- good works is trying to earn ones salvation
and other such false teachings
I am now an apostate. Apostate and proud.

Im a follower of Christ and the typical Christian church has departed from Christ
Christ preached faith + good works = eternal life
Paul preached the same : faith in Christ [Eph 2] + righteousness [Eph 5] - inheritance in the Kingdom of God.

. Hence true followers of Christ are apostate.

Reprobate ? The sheep of Christ hears his voice
He knows them and he gives them eternal life.
Reprobates hear other voices.

Like sonship, you, romans 1009 .. you people do not hear Christ.

So yes Im apostate, I have departed from church teachings.
Reprobate ? nah .. thats you people.

How exactly does preaching the doctrine of Christ
or following Christ makes someone wise in their own conceit?

It shows you how far gone you church people are.

Your false doctrine is a perfect match with what Jehovah’s Witnesses believe. Are you a member of the JW?

I think at some time he was their student.

I heard of a teacher who would not obey to stop reading apologetic literature against the Jehovah's Witnesses. He wanted to be a strong defender of them. But because he could not obey to stop studying Christian liturature critical of the JWs he was finally forced to leave and start his own group - something about servants or people of Jah or something close to what he left.

James White told us about this in his extensive experience and knowledge of the group.

When I heard this I immediately thought of the possibility that Rajk999 has some similar experience perhaps. I don't expect him to admit it.

And I really don't expect Galveston to admit it.
That is IF I am close.

You know the wrong Christ.

Isaiah 44:6
Thus saith the LORD(Jehovah) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Revelation 22:13
Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."

Simple exegesis Rajk.

It is God Himself speaking and telling the world exactly who He is.

You are disqualified for not understanding simple speech.

God is speaking here. You understand this one ?
You understand who will enter the Kingdom of God?

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him,
then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand,
Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me:
I was sick, and ye visited me:
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
(Matthew 25:31-36 KJV)

OIr maybe you dont like what Christ preached.. I know.
So how about Paul

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
(Ephesians 5:1-5 KJV)
