for millenia women have been beaten into submission, abused horrifically, been forced to wear overbearing clothing just so that men won't be so afraid of them

men are frightened
ALL men
they fear being out of control

so the prevailing patriarchy demands servitude
and that system is crumbling right before their jaded eyeballs, never to return

white men are TOAST
Try switching on the news and seeing what's happening to women in Afghanistan at the moment.

It's tough to imagine a time when physical abuse was okay
But looking back toy early childhood I got spanked a lot. Old TV shows showed bruised men and women, injured during domestics. COMEDY shows too.
Ha ha

He will be aware of that I am certain, he’s just had a few too many mushrooms on his toast as I did in Scotland 🙂

Don't use that word as an insult. It's misogynistic.

You’re a small minded person who has nothing better to do than pick holes (oops!) in what anyone says. You’re condescending, have no sense of humour and have absolutely no idea of how some women talk in Wales. If you find that word misogynistic that maybe reflects your dirty mind. Women in Wales use it as a word to to call others an idiot and it fits you perfectly.

Funny that you don’t find the title of this thread misogynistic?
Seems you are just out to put me down because I’m a woman!

What about you making fun of people who suffer with extra pyramidal side effects from major tranquillisers?

“Oh lord, not the Soros psychosis again! Go take your meds, boy, you're dribbling.”

Nice guy!

"white men are TOAST"

- This is truth. And the sooner they "brown" the better. But some will always remain "crusty"... 20th centurions.

Spanking children is against the law here since 1979.

Seems your country got it right a very long time a go. I’ve just checked to find that the physical punishment of children will become illegal in Wales on 21 March 2022.

There’s an awful term that used to be used called ‘a loving smack’, used by people who felt that being smacked themselves had done them some good? I was caned twice at 9 by a bully of a headmaster in our Catholic School. He caned our whole class bar 4 for not learning our Catechism and the second time when I didn’t return straight to the classroom after being told to carry in the crate of school milk in with my friend. I also got my dad’s belt across the seat of my trousers and got bullied so much by 2 older brothers that I thought it the norm so never complained. I was a sensitive child with a pitiful self esteem by my teens.

That's sad to read. Did you have your mother to protect you from your father and your brothers? I have learned that sometimes children could get spanked both by a teacher and parent for the same reason, so these children had nobody to turn to. My parents never raised a hand to harm me and I have no siblings, and no spanking in school either, so I lived a very protected life.

Edit: Spanking children and wives still happens but it is illegal.

my wife went to a catholic school she said the nuns were barbarians and beat the kids regulaly..... not quite so bad in the seniors, I on the other hand went to a state school(all denominations welcome) still got caned a few times, in secondry school there was allways bullies, so it was best to show them u were not a push over then u got caned for fighting.

Apparently, in Canada it is legal to spank a child under 18, providing it meets “certain legal parameters”. That surprises me. I will have to look further into this. Not that I am or was a “spanker”, though I have been a “spankee”.😲🤔
