but i think that the ingenuity to think of hiring a hitman to relieve oneself of an awkward social relationship ranks right up there

and altho our deeds are not carved in granite, and family legend is blurred and obscured, it's that legacy that is the achievement

A lot of the world's chronic problems could be solved if we could develop a political system that addresses the fact that the top 10% of people are hoarding 85% of the world's wealth and resources, while the bottom 90% control the remaining 15%, and the top 30% of people hold 97% of the total wealth. The current political classes absolutely everywhere have been bought off to some ...[text shortened]... anizing bread and circuses. Solving THIS problem would be a not-too-shabby achievement for humanity.

Yes until we can take care of the many issues concerning what “we” are doing to earth first. Haven’t “we” already started to leave trash there (the moon)?

-Removed-You write your way and I’ll write mine. How dull the world would be were we all like you or me or anyone else. Now as to my leaving trash on the moon, I may have done in a roundabout way through some investments made in companies who may have produced a widget used to get there. I know I have done my bit when it comes to adding to our pollution here on the little blue planter, as I’m sure you did too.

- you, apparently only recently realised that life ptoduces garbage which smells badly and people have to deal with it.
- some modern urban grow up believing that chicken, beef and pork etc are made in factories.
- some well to do communities are unaware that they are part of the 1% wealthiest on the planet and are shocked to see what life is like when they mature and travel the world.
These people are extremists, when they are young they are extremely protected and when they mature they go to the otherside of the extremist spectrum to compensate. This is what produces vegans and people who condemn those eating meat. Vegans and Peta supporters are extremist who suddenly realise animals have to die and often painfully.
Im not blaming you. Its just the way some societies are organised, designed to protect people from undesirable truths.
