@eladar saidDo you think M*A*S*H is unwatchable because you believe the show promotes the idea that cross dressing means a man is insane?
So cross dressing means a man is insane. Nice message, but I did not know you agreed with that message.
@fmf saidNo

@wolfgang59 saidGlad to see you have no problem with propagating the idea that cross dressing should not be acceptable behavior, unless being used as a dodge.
@Eladar
No
@eladar saidBozo

@eladar saidThen that would make you a bozo, thanks for the reply! 😉
Anyone who will not answer a simple yes or no question is a bozo.
@very-rusty saidOnly to a bozo. As I said, answer my question first, then feel free to ask yours.

@fmf saidI agree that canned laughter is annoying. Another show I found even harder to watch (with or w/o canned laughter) was Hogan’s Heroes. War and Sitcom seldom go together well, in my opinion. However, there was a very good Black Adder season about the desperate absurdity of WWI which worked.
M*A*S*H is unwatchable with canned laughter.
In the UK, growing up, I liked M*A*S*H but BBC2 switched the laugh track off.
I remember, there was once an episode broadcast where they forgot to turn it off.
The BBC announcer apologized afterwards.
@earl-of-trumps saidIndeed loretta Swit great for the part she played.
Man, did this thread turn into "Family Feud" in a hurry.
M*A*S*H was very good. I enjoyed it. And Hotlips Hoolihan was all that, HOT.
@moonbus saidYou missed a great sitcom!
@wolfgang59
I had heard of it but never seen it.
@divegeester saidFunny thing, I didn't think you were USAnian. Evidently I was wrong.
I’m not aware of that program.
