Do you really think so many people, many of them very smart, would believe the Bible is the Word of God if the Bible contained false and historically inaccurate information?

Enoch 22:1-15
[1]From thence I proceeded to another spot, where I saw on the west a great and lofty mountain, a strong rock, and four delightful places

[13]And thus has it been from the beginning of the world Thus has there existed a separation between the souls of those who utter complaints, and of those who watch for their destruction, to slaughter them in the day of sinners
[14]A receptacle of this sort has been formed for the souls of unrighteous men, and of sinners; of those who have completed crime, and associated with the impious, whom they resemble Their souls shall not be annihilated in the day of judgment, neither shall they arise from this place Then I blessed God,

No idea if they are or not.

But I know atheists use the theory of evolution as a justification for their atheism.

One fellow on here couldn’t provide evidence for the theory of evolution’s central claim - that one species turns into another species by random mutations and natural selection - despite being asked nearly a dozen times.

I provided plenty of evidence, you just dismiss the entire fossil record because you have little or no knowledge other than that you have gleaned from whatever creationist website you used when you 'looked into' evolution.

Perhaps you're ready to offer your alternative explanation for how species develop over time? I'm sure it must be very compelling...
