Nobody says warm water CAUSES hurricanes. Warm water INTENSIFIES Hurricanes and THAT JACK is a FACT.
@sonhouse saidNot without condensation caused by a colder upper atmosphere. That is a fact Jack.

Warm water is not enough. That is why hurricanes are more frequent in a colder global climate and that is a fact Jack. Both evaporation and condensation are needed to fuel the cycle. Evaporation alone cannot form a hurricane and that is a fact Jack.
Learn the science of hurricanes. Learn the facts.
@Metal-Brain
You are stuck on 'FORM' a hurricane. I said warm water STRENGTHENS hurricanes that already exist. From the center for science education:
"This happens in many other warm, tropical areas of the world too, but only under certain circumstances. These storms are called hurricanes in the Atlantic and are called typhoons and tropical cyclones in other parts of the world. For one to form, there needs to be warm ocean water and moist, humid air in the region. When humid air is flowing upward at a zone of low pressure over warm ocean water, the water is released from the air, as creating the clouds of the storm.
As it rises, the air in a hurricane rotates.

@metal-brain saidA relatively lower upper atmosphere temperature is required there is no requirement for a particularly cold upper atmosphere.
@sonhouse
A cold upper atmosphere is needed to fuel the cycle of hurricanes. Warm water alone cannot cause a hurricane to form. You science deniers need to remember that.
Of course a Qanon man made climate change denier would like to believe the upper atmosphere is getting colder but it’s not, the oceans are getting warmer
@kevcvs57
So you admit a relatively lower upper atmosphere temperature is required?
Finally an alarmist admits warm water alone is not enough. That is progress.
Now, what happens if the global climate warms enough that there is rarely a relatively lower upper atmosphere temperature in the northern Atlantic? Less hurricanes, right?
@metal-brain saidOh good grief you cannot be this stupid.
