@Metal-Brain

The gravity well MODULATES TD. High up away from center time runs faster, deeper down the well towards the center, time flow slows down.
If you can't visualize that you really need to do physics 101.

False cause and effect.
Your second sentence is true, but that is consistent with everything I have said and Brian Greene has said. It is not proof that time dilation is the result of gravity. I'll use your same faulty logic with another false cause and effect I made up.

By your logic time dilation causes cancer.

Time dilation can result from speed. Time dilation can also be the result of gravity. I pointed out this opposite cause and effect long ago. This opposite cause and effect between the 2 is the basis of the equivalence principal.

The morons on here that claim otherwise are making it up. I suppose I should create a new thread called "the science of denial". There is plenty of denial here from dogmatic fools.

Says the guy who disdains college educations but rather parrots his favorite experts and pronounces everyone else to be idiots if they don't agree.

I never said I disdained college educations. You are such a liar!

Apparently you disdain Brian Greene for knowing more about Einstein than you do.

BS.
Apparently you disdain all of us science experts here for knowing more than you do.
If Brian Greene and Einstein were here on this forum, they would be both also disagreeing with your many idiotic assertions and then you would be showing exactly the same disrespect to both Brian Greene and Einstein as to the rest of as and for the same reasons; you cannot accept you are wrong when you are and you have the arrogant delusion that you are smarter and know more about science than all us science experts.

Brian Greene and Einstein are the science experts. Einstein has NEVER claimed gravity causes time dilation. You are either claiming to know more than Einstein, or you are making false claims about his GR theory. Which is it?

So are we.
Your above use of the word "the" is illogical because they aren't the ONLY science experts.
And nothing we said recently disagrees with what Einstein said nor his works.
You are certainly NOT a science expert.

So you are making false claims about his GR theory. Einstein NEVER claimed gravity caused time dilation. You are in error.

@Metal-Brain
So SHOW us where he never said that. You clearly are superior to everyone else here so we await your analysis.

Einstein NEVER claimed gravity caused time dilation.
Even if that were true, it doesn't stop some of us physics experts from deducing from his relativity equations that gravity causes time dilation and thus he wouldn't have disagreed with us. You, in contrast, don't even understand any of his relativity equations. So how could you possibly know that his equations do NOT imply gravity causes time dilation?

Here is what some of the physicists who actually understand the GR equations have to say about it;

https://sciencedocbox.com/Physics/114487853-Time-dilation-in-the-global-positioning-system-has-implications-for-the-theory-of-gravity.html
"...it is clear that gravity causes time dilation..."

https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/2041-8205/734/1/L19/pdf
"...Raymond Ang ́elil and Prasenjit SahaInstitute for Theoretical Physics, University of Z ̈urich,
...
Hence, gravity causes time dilation
..."

There seems to be a general consensus here among physicists that understand GR equations that gravity caused time dilation.
We will take their expert word for it over you idiotic ignorant word for it.

You want me to prove he never said something. How could anyone do that?

How about you prove he said gravity causes time dilation since that is what you think? He has never said such an idiotic thing. Only you and humy suggest such nonsense.

Prove your positive. You cannot do it because the quote does not exist.

Both of those links say nothing to confirm your false assertion. Experts in GR understand time dilation causes gravity. You simply don't understand GR.

Physicists that specialize in GR know better than you and the other trolls on here. Brian Greene is more qualified than you. He is the expert, you are not.

Apparently you cannot read but, as I have already quoted, they clearly both say "gravity causes time dilation" and they are clearly both from relativity experts.
We just listen to the experts, not you.
