There really is a good story about those guys and RHP from way, way back. An early CNET interview with their founder using RHP has since been lost to time, unfortunately.

I think RHP will be the only online chess property they don't own soon.

If they could actually afford it which is very doubtful, how long do you think it would be before they ruined the name and ran it into the ground? The gooster already said I had a ban and negotiations were not completed. I am willing to bet that people would leave because the gooster and fmf were part owners. 🙂

I dusted out some cobwebs in my memory banks, and seem to remember something about RHP being put on the auction block once, on eBay.

Did that really happen, or did I just imagine it? 🙂 I think Chrismo was involved......
