It doesn't really matter to me, Dive. Just clarifying

@mchill saidThis (VP debate) might be one for the ages. Assuming we have one.
Good choice. Pence had better bring his "A" game if he debates her.
@earl-of-trumps said"I think the father is "mixed" but I don't know."
@no1marauder
I'm not putting any labels on them The mother is known to be Indian.
I think the father is "mixed" but I don't know.
In any event, if she is clearly 50% Indian, why don't they refer to her as "Indian American"?
You know why and so do I. cultural appropriation.
@suzianne said...said the hypocrite who brings up Trump’s past.
And now she does not oppose it.
Stop living in the past.
@earl-of-trumps saidI said this would happen.
Since 8 o'clock am, only three threads have been updated in debates.
dead as a doornail.
@wolfe63 saidSo picking someone based on race, which they did, is moving on? 🤔
You may believe, but I know... that she's American.
Racial tagging is a tired weapon of division.
Stay parasitically attached to your 1950's comfort teat if you like.
But we're moving on.

Congrats to the leftist moderators catering to liberals hurt feelings.
Y’all killed the debate forum!
@chesstachio saidYour mind reading skills are impressive, but Harris was probably the best qualified candidate for VP, having executive and legislative experience. She's also fairly young for a VP, which was surely a consideration given Biden's age.

@chesstachio saidNo they didn't make any such announcement. https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/15/politics/joe-biden-woman-vice-president/index.html
They announced they would pick a woman of colour regardless of abilities or success as a politician long ago.
She may be good or bad but it doesn’t change the fact they focused on women of colour as their main concern.
(To pander the black vote, obviously)
@earl-of-trumps saidThey were pretty much replaced with African slaves by the British but there is probably a genetic and cultural heritage remaining in the present day Caribbean. I believe the Caribbean gets its name from these indigenous people.
@kevcvs57
I see.
The original inhabitants of Jamaica were the indigenous Taíno, an Arawak-speaking
people who began arriving on Hispaniola by canoe from the Belize and the
Yucatan peninsula sometime before 2000 BCE.
Psssst: her mother is Indian, 100%. Don't forget her.
