Fair enough.. put jennings had a grear 70s with Spurs and then Arseanl playing the fa cup finals of 1978,79,80.

Stephney was still aroubd in the mid-70s... but i take your point.

What you think of Phil Parks (QPR,WEST HAM); BARRIDGE (villa) SHILTON AND CLAMENCE

Is it true that Chilavert is the top ever goalscoring 'keeper?
He was. Since last year, the top goalscoring gk is Rogério Ceni (São Paulo F. C.).

A good blast from the past, but alas, not one of the best keepers!

I don't remember him at DCFC?
The first players I remember at Derby were the likes of Franny Lee, Kev Hector, Colin Todd, and Roy McFarland....

I played on The Baseball Ground by the way!
Derby Boys v Sheffield Boys... a long time ago now though, about 83/84ish...

He was traded during the '85 off-season from the Leicester Blue Foxes.

Those were the days... before my time though 🙁

I was playing snooker last night with an ex-Derby Boy - he also played (and scored) at the BBG. You were lucky to play on that ground - it had one of the best atmospheres in it's time - such a "close" stadium. I guess it wasn't at crowd capacity though for a boys match so might not have had the same buzz.
