@sonship saidDo these two assertions lie at the very heart of your proselytizing?
Human language has its limits. And if someone tells you some things you have to take it sometimes on a kind of trust, though you cannot imagine what is being told you.
@sonship saidIs there a point to all this rambling about your inability to imagine? Because I’m having a tough time imagining it.
@kevcvs57
That's my problem with imagining a beginning to time.
As soon as you speak of "just prior to the Big Bang" the beginning of TIME has a prior moment you have to imagine.
Mind you ne for me TIME with no beginning.
It is had to imagine for me TIME with a definite beginning too.
@sonship saidShouldn't this be: "Whoever believes in 'mind over matter', please raise my hand."?
Whoever doesn't believe in mind over matter, please raise your hand.
@suzianne saidMy thinking was that if one does not believe in mind over matter raising the hand indicates they must be wrong.
Shouldn't this be: "Whoever believes in 'mind over matter', please raise my hand."?
@suzianne saidNice one!

@sonship saidWhat are you drinking today, and can I have some please?
My thinking was that if one does not believe in mind over matter raising the hand indicates they must be wrong.
The mind instructed the matter of the hand to physically raise.
@sonship said1) The golden apples of the Sun
I have two questions. And I will volunteer to give my answer to them first.
1.) Can human beings imagine time with no beginning?
2.) Can human beings imagine time with a beginning?
Those are the two questions.
Personally, I cannot imagine either.
No.
No.
What about you?
@rookie54 saidSorry to say, but that sounds like Gordon Lightfoot in a bottle with the wrong yeast.
imagine that time does not exist
there is no past
there is no future
there exists only the present, the right now
all these other constructs are humans attempting to manage the inexplicable
@divegeester saidThat seems like bubbles in the foam of the Beyond. You are almost there.
