If Dr Diggs were motivated solely by medical concerns (which you have suggested), he would instantly recognise that telling people not to engage in homosexual sex is futile and therefore his approach is doomed to failure accept that any sexual contact outside the marriage of two heterosexual people, is acceptable.

What does this purport to sate, that homosexual sex is safe, or that sex as actually practised by homosexuals is dangerous? How will you argue this way? it cannot be done, its a fact.

Actually Dr. Diggs firmly believes that homosexual behaviour patterns can be changed and provides a link to an alternative site, a kind of catholic ministry dealing with the reparation of homosexuals. To sate that he has done nothing or that he could reduce the propensity for harm by teaching them to practice safe sex is akin to handing out condoms to teenagers in the hope that they will use them. It has been known since the nineteen eighties that homosexual sexual practices can result in the transmission of HIV, and look, here we are, 30 odd years later with the highest ever recorded instances among gay men in the UK. Clearly messages of safe sex are not working, are they.

and why should he not advocate anything other than what is natural, healthy and physiologically sound.

my solution? stop promoting the idea that homosexual sex is healthy and natural and acceptable. Although this runs the risk of exposing gays to hatred and intolerance, the media portrayal is clearly contrary to the actual truth. I turn on the TV and its like a gay fest! there is a disproportionate amount of air time dedicated to the promotion of homosexual lifestyles as being, 'the new normal', and not a single programme dedicated to detailing the health risks associated.

this is skewed, promiscuity is certainly promoted, but who is promoting promiscuous unprotected sex in Africa as being healthy? the same cannot be said of gay lifestyles which are always, healthy and sound and normal?

The issue here is anal sex, not a gay lifestyle. The two are not synonymous.

clearly there is a link or how will you argue against the HIV figures for homosexual men in the UK being at the highest ever? I suspect that the majority of those cases of infection were through persons living a homosexual lifestyle while practising anal sex. a study in Australia concluded that you are more likely to be a victim if you are part of a homosexual community than someone who just comes out of the closet now and again, clearly showing a correlation between a homosexual lifestyle and promiscuity.
