If I were you, I would not waste any more time with him. Just leave him for the Holy Spirit to deal with.
I don't know! Just as you and I don't know who will be standing before
God accepted by Him through Jesus Christ! What I do know is that God
sent Jesus to us, and Jesus laid down His life for us and took it up again!
What I do know is that God gives His Spirit to those that belong to Him and
those that do not have God's Spirit do not belong to God. Tha ...[text shortened]... hose who clam to be Christian and have not
God's Spirit are not in my opinion Christian.

The standard definition of a CHristian is one who claims that he is. eg there are 2.18 billion Christians in the world.
Apparently you seem to know who are good and who are not or who has God in their life and who does not. I do not know that.
Most Christians accept what other Christians say about their beliefs. Most do not assume that their Christian brothers really aren't. In this forum, only you and the JWs do this.

You people would not admit it but it is this once saved always saved foolishness that causes all this lack of understanding.
People who once accepted Christ can and do change their minds. The Bible says that clearly as well. People change.
However the churches preach that once saved you cannot be unsaved, but that is not in the Bible. Christ will judge who is saved and who is not when he returns .

but if they had Him in their lives they would be liars to say they never did.
You can make any claim you want, but if God was in your life and you did
change your mind that is not the same thing as saying I once believed and
now I don't. One is rejecting what you know is true, the other is being
mistaken on what you thought was true, not the same thing.

I wonder if anyone has ever converted to Christianity because they wanted to emulate KellyJay.

Originally posted by KellyJayYou are probably not in a good position to say all that. The New testament has many people who once had God in their lives and then changed after. They became outcasts. You cannot say that they never did. That is your problem. You cannot accept that someone will change if they really did have God at one point. It can happen.

Originally posted by RJHindsAccording to KellyJay's reasoning, nobody will know whether 'Jesus ever knew him' until we are sure he won't lose his faith. According to KellyJay's reasoning, nobody yet knows ~ including himself ~ if his claim to be a Christian is a "lie".
