@Ghost-of-a-Duke

You're welcomed to have another opinion about God's salvation.

We in the Lord's recovery feel quite confident and comfortable with the NT telling us that we are "partakers of the divine nature." and telling us of Christ's prayer that we be perfected.

All farmers will face this

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.(Revelation 22:13-15 KJV)

Only those farmers who keep the commandments will get eternal life. All farmers who practice mouth worship will get damnation

Concerning Revelation 22:14

Some MSS have "do his commandments." The Nestle Greek text on which the RcV is a translation has "wash their robes"

And to us "wash their robes" does not mean BREAK and DISPOBEY His commandments. It means to keep their conduct pure washing their living in the blood of the Lamb as in (7:14; 1 John 1:7) . This living out of Christ gives them right to the tree of life and to enter into the gates of the city.

Both the tree of life and the gates are the eternal enjoyment of the fully transformed saints who have been conformed to the image of the Firstborn Son of God (Rom. 8:28) .

It definitely is not about being lawless, reberllious, or refusing sanctification.

Not arguing but providing this verse:

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

(2 Corinthians 5:21)

We praise Him that He has been made our Redeemer.
We have HIm as our righteousness. Fantastic.

More now.
We are to grow up into Him in . . . ALL THINGS. ...[text shortened]... s name to nourish, cherish, and supply one another. In these days we need companionship in His name.
And eat Jesus, Don't forget to eat Jesus.

Witness Lee has given you an alternative opinion on God's salvation that falls outside of scripture.

The farmers AS WELL as everyone else on the farm and in the temple of God is evaluated by his manner of building the temple of God.

" . . . But let each man take heed how he builds upon it [the foundation of Christ] (3:10)

The apostles are to be evauated. But also is each man evaluated.

"But if anyone builds upon the foundation . . . "
(v.12)[/b]

That would be anyone saved of course.

"The work of each will become manifest; for the day will declare it, because it is revealed by fire, and the fire itsef weill prove each one's work of what sort it is." (v.13)

And "We must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done through the body according to what he has practiced, whether good or bad." (2 Cor. 5:10)

Is railing against Wirness Lee your last and best hope for upholding atheism?

You seem to expend more energy on this then on anything else.

How many red thumbs down will it take to erase from my New Testament this passage? Better go recruit some more.

"So then neither is he who plants anything nor he who waters, but God who causes the growth.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will recieve his own reward according to his own labor.

For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's cultivated land, God's building." (1 Cor. 3:7-9)

How many frowning downward thumb pointing critics will cause this passage to disappear from the New Testament?

Totally agree. (Notice in the last verse of this passage, the Apostle Paul talks about praying in the Spirit.)

Yes, the connection with the Spirit must be stengthened. Eventual our prayer should be like a BREATHING. We pray without ceasing. That means all the time a kind of breathing prayer, even when we are not that conscious of it.

"Always rejoice,
Unceasingly pray" (1 Thess. 5:17)

I know a good singing version of that verse.

PB2010

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Amen. His might is THE might. So mighty is our Lord Jesus.
He overcame.
He overcame for us and now dispenses His overcoming life into us.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

That is right. It is not a fight against people.
People may be influenced by the spiritual forces of darkness.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

(Ephesians 6:10-18)

Paul closes his letter to the Romans reminding them that Satan will be crushed under their feet shortly. This is the church ushering in victory by standing in Christ without being moved away, steadfastly.

"Now the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you." (Rom. 16:20)

The enemy knows that the churches are for the crushing of Satan under their feet. Of couse only as Christians are saturated with Christ and built up together in love in Christ.

His being defeated in us is Him being crushed under our feet.
It is not small thing.
