I'm at odds with my algorithms

My YouTube algorithms are not satisfying me with their choices. But aren't those algorithms just reflecting the nature of my past choices back at me? I feel repressed. Am I the victim or the perpetrator?

i turn the sound all the way down, run th video at 2X, and play some stevie ray or zz top

No. I don't think so. I do NOT need to see the highlights of nine French Ligue 1 fixtures every weekend, consciously or otherwise. In revenge for Brexit, I think Britons like me are being tracked down all around the world and interfered with via YouTube.

Perhaps Musk is writing the algorithms for Youtube now.

😁 Good one, but no. We both still have most of our cognitive functions. I wonder, as we go to the particular place pretty much every Saturday, at roughly the same time that it, the navigation system, assumes that’s where we are going?🤔

My wife has recently bought a Mercedes and she told me her car does the same. I didn't believe her (I pretended to of course) but maybe she has a point.

It may be like when you google something and all of a sudden you get a bunch of articles/advertising on similar products. I have a flip phone so you can likely guess that I am not a techie. Hell I have trouble getting into my IPad to get to RHP.😲

A few months back a poster (think it was Dive) posted something about looking to buy a shed. I did a quick Google search and for the next few weeks was constantly bombarded with adverts for sheds. (Wherever I went).

Somebody out there really had me pegged as a chap contemplating the purchase of a shed. - Am currently being stalked by winter coats.
