    i was dismembering another wheel of cheese this morning
    3.7 kilos of holland gouda
    lessons learned -

    • do not think about ripping a piece of cling wrap, just do it
    it's gonna stick anyways
    • a chef's knife is better than a serrated knife
    • a wet chef's knife is better than a chef's knife
    • do not get the handle of the chef's knife wet
    • my stainless steel assassins garrotte is better than a chef's knife
    • when you think you've got the wedge cut small enough to fit in the plastic zipper bag, cut it again
    • the folks in holland wax a wheel of cheese better than folks in wisconsin
    • holland gouda tastes about the same as wisconsin cheddar, but better
    • i like typing bullet points
    • wax stain on my cutting boards is the devil to remove
    • this post will not be read by anyone of consequence
    • i still like bullet points better than cheese

    and they inflate prices to offset delivery fees,
    but,
    is english blue stilton really worth $35 (usa dollars) a pound (weight)?
