Because it's a stupid idea on a web forum, full stop. At the very least you'd have to also allow a Men Only Forum and police it just as strictly - which will never happen.

(Also, I think your numbers are off. 90%, possibly. 99%? I don't think we have 100 regular posters, and at least Torunn identifies as female. Oh, and Hakima, too.)
