@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt could be said that lack of necessity is no reason not to do something.
No need for that. Deeply unpleasant to read.
It could also be said that your second statement was either an unprovable categorical assertion or a passive-aggressive attempt to control me with an appeal to my consideration of your sensibilities.
However, I do understand the general principle re: forum etiquette that you were trying to get across in your pickle-fingered way, and -- allowing that in the heat of the moment sometimes things are poorly phrased -- I will grudgingly (with a bit of tetanus) agree that you were correct.
Interestingly (unless I missed something), by reminding me of this general principle of forum etiquette, it seems that you stood up for @divegeester's wife more than he himself did.
@very-rusty saidI always figured Dive and FMF shared the same towel, with their gold-threaded monograms at opposite ends. 😉
You must mean for the gooster!!! 🙂
He has his own crying towel, with GOOSTER marked on it. 🙂

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThank you, Sir.
The comings and goings of the Chamber are none of your concern.
Although of course an erratic character like me has no standing to support your stance, your stance is my stance as well.
In a word, our stances on this matter are congruent, albeit at some remove in Cartesian Space.
@fmf saidWould you mind pasting the part of that chat where @Silverstriker granted you permission to post publicly something he had written to you in private?
No. You are not. I was midway through a chat-game with Silverstriker and so I know what happened.
