I agree, Trumpashenko's mounting panic is palpable. He is going to take a drubbing, and some part of him dimly foresees this as the probable outcome. Hence, the increasingly histrionic and desperate quacking to slag off his own responsibility for his failure.

In battleground states like mine, Pennsylvania, the state houses can throw out the electors and install their own which by some weird coincident would all be republican, and so they would just turn over the electors to their own and it would be perfectly legal. Well sinisterly legal anyway.
But that is the plan.

It would be a stunning hijack of the electoral process, if carried out. But it would work only once. It would rebound against the Rep-party big-time at the next congressional elections, and then the EC would be disbanded by a Dem-controlled congress.

Trump should just issue an executive order that any presidentialo candidate is required to be called "Donald Trump" and thus he will ahve established the process 😉
