So lying to the public is normal and therefore acceptable.
Why is nobody ever held accountable for lying about war in high level politics?

Actually she was not lying. We are at war with Russia. Any nation sending weapons to Ukraine is at war with Russia. We just let the Ukrainians do the dying instead, that is all. What happens when they run out of Ukrainian soldiers ...[text shortened]... in NATO. Russia should call their bluff and fracture NATO now. If they don't it will only get worse.
Russia STARTED the war by invading a sovereign nation which means THEY declared war on the agreed settlement in Europe which means Russia declared war on the whole of Europe’s governments who support that settlement.
Whatever nato and individual governments do in regard to Ukraines defence is a response to the actions of an expansionist Russia.
If Germany declares war on Russia it will come in the form of a communique between embassies not an interview with a random member of government.

Hey, metalbrain has already conceded that there’s war on, not a ‘special military operation.’ Case closed. No further discussion needed. This thread was a dead end from the title. Don’t feed the troll.

Ukraine is NOT a sovereign nation. It is a puppet of the USA.

Ukraine is no more of a sovereign nation now than it was when it was part of the USSR. You don't even know the definition of sovereign. You just repeat words like a parrot.

By your logic, No. Korea and Iran are therefore at war, too, since they are sending weapons to Russia. Your arguments are too daft to bother refuting.
They both deny it. Do you have proof?

So what is YOUR definition of a sovereign nation?

Ukraine is member of UNO, Russia has made an international treaty with the Ukraine (Budapest memorandum) granting them their sovereiognity, what else you need? A certificate by Kim Jong-Un?

enjoying autonomy : independent
sovereign states

Not a puppet dictatorship. That is for sure.

Nuland: OK. He's now gotten both Serry and [UN Secretary General] Ban Ki-moon to agree that Serry could come in Monday or Tuesday. So that would be great, I think, to help glue this thing and to have the UN help glue it and, you know, F*** the EU.

Are you in denial that Ukraine was overthrown in a US backed coup?
If you refuse to accept this fact just say so.

The head of the Russian puppet regime was ousted in a popular uprising because he was blatantly taking orders directly from the Kremlin regarding sovereign Ukraines wish to join the EU.
Again the tosspot dictator Putin overplayed his hand and underestimated Ukraines wish to free itself from the malignant fascist regime in the Kremlin.
If you do not agree with or understand these facts just say so Ivan, either way your ass had better get out of Ukraine and stay within it’s own sovereign border or the rest of Europe, the US and affiliated states will continue to arm Ukraine and strangle your economy.
Lol how sorry assed must a state be before it accepts puppet status to Russia, a failed state in the making.

It’s a known fact idiot the UN agrees with me and reality Ukraine is a sovereign state and as such can join any economic bloc that it wishes to without being invaded by a pariah state.
Have you being listening to Putin’s liar in chief Peskov again because when you claim that Ukraine is not a sovereign state you sound as silly as him.

That "head of a Russian puppet regime" was democratically elected by the People of Ukraine. It was within his Constitutional powers to decide what economic agreements Ukraine entered into; it was not within the Constitutional powers of any entity in that sovereign State to remove him in the manner it was done.

Arguably Belarus is a puppet state of Russia to a fair degree.

Anyway, the chief problem for Putin is that the Russian military was never suited for subjugating a nation as large as Ukraine. It's rife with corruption and infighting, has never really modernized its combat tactics, and has been purged of most of its better officers. The Ukrainian military I suppose is halfway decent (especially when bolstered by Western hardware and know-how), but much of the fiasco for Russia is of Russia's own making. Russia as a whole is a decaying kleptocracy, with Putin himself possibly being the richest man alive.

The sooner Putin is replaced by an earnest, reform-minded leader, the better.

So was trump what’s your point
If trump had gone full on Putin puppet I guess you don’t think the people of the US would have the right to depose him even if he turned armed militias, including violent criminals freed for the purpose, on demonstrators.
I guess your lockean natural rights are only for the use of the select few.
When did you become the arbiter of what other people decide regarding their own governance. That election took place on the understanding that Ukraine would pursue EU membership. The kremlins puppet president reneged on that at the order of Putin.
The people of Ukraine can install and uninstall any form of government they wish without being brutally invaded by a malignant neighbour and certainly without any permissions from yourself and MB.
