The original Odd Couple with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall

    Colombo

The Brady Bunch (the later episodes)

    The White Shadow

    Happy Days (the earlier episodes)

The original Twilight Zone (in black and white)

Probably a few others I’m not recalling at the moment

The Brady Bunch S4 E14, Law and Disorder, Greg Brady Barry Williams was stoned on pot.

Happy Days, Winkler and Howard had friction. Howard was the top star, Winkler got all the attention.

Twilight Zone, "Submitted for your approval," is famous, but Rod Serling only said it 3 times.

Columbo, Falk used his own clothes for wardrobe. His signature rain coat was bought during a downpour in NYC for I believe $16 back in 1967.

Those are interesting facts. Thanks. I didn’t know any of them.

Great line from Columbo that never gets old:

“Oh sir, just one more thing.” (Said while touching head and cigar in hand.)

I only saw Columbo really angry twice - once with Leonard Nimoy (who played a heart surgeon) who was laughing at him, and once with Robert Conrad (who played a fitness guru) when they were in a hospital.

I believe both scenes are on YouTube and are excellent viewing.

When we heard ,"Just one more thing," we knew he was about to solve the case.

Nimoy did a lot of his early acting in Westerns.

Conrad during the filming for Centennial around my home towns rivers, was arrested for public intoxication and fighting.
One local filling station attendant sent Conrad to the ER he was beaten so badly.

M*A*S*H and Cheers - probably the only two adult TV shows to really move me.
Sesame Street and the Muppet Show - ditto, but for the whole family.

Loads and loads of UK quiz and panel shows. UC, HIGNFY, Wok the Meek, OC, Mastermind, all that lot that makes you think rather than blindly react.

Yes, Minister - of course! They pretended to make a comedy, but they made an incisive documentary. And it's as true today as it ever was. As funny, as well!

Jeremy Brett's take on Holmes? He was sharp without being a caricature of an anti-social, and Burke was an effective audience substitute without being either a bumbler or an idiot. The best take on the original stories I've ever seen.

OK, @Russ definitely suffers under the S-ohdearidbetternotmentionthattownsname-thorpe Problem.

For procreation's sake, get rid of this, you Python programmer!

M*A*S*H, I can honestly say I dislike pretty much every character besides Potter. Hawkeye is a holyer than thou pompus egomanic. BJ was a douche, Hot lips wasn't hot IMO. I just disliked most of them. But the show is well written and done well.

Cheers, I don't like bars, not a drinker, I just didn't like it, sorry. I'm glad you enjoyed 2 shows I'm familiar with.

British TV, Benny Hill, Monty Python, Are You Being Served? Loved these.

I like Westerns, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Rifleman, Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger. I like Andy Griffith.
I like old obscure Westerns best. Yancy Derringer, Annie Oakley.

    Perry Mason is great
Did you know they made just one episode in color? The make up and wardrobe depts along with the crew were inexperienced in color, so they didn't film in color again.
What always got me was Paul Drake's sports coat. The material always looked like it came from sofa upholstery.
