Forget the current points system and do a plus/minus score for each player.

Win a game and your player is plus one.
Lose or resign and your back to zero. ...[text shortened]... to lower their rating for clan games and resigning any clan games would hurt your plus/minus score.

You could put up a suggestions to introduce a 0/120 setting if you are so admant the challenges finishes in that time

I have been advocating a separate clan challenge Rating for years now @My-King, to no avail, I agree it would cut down on ratings that go between 1200's and 1500's and I use my own rating as an example. I also play other players who I know to be 200-300 points higher than their rating as I've played them for Years!!!!

This can sometimes be due to game load or simply a person having a bad string of games. I lost 4 double games in 4 challenges, now you must know that was not intentional.

Even then people would figure out a way to show a false rating I am sure. You are correct though it would certainly cut down on the abuse of doing those things!!!

Punish the leaders who work hard it. Sounds like a great idea. Make sure to tell all the leaders how you feel. PM them to make sure they all understand. lol

I just wish we were as smart as the little group are. Hell we may even be in first place for now. Much can happen during the year, no lead is safe this early. Unless of course no one plans on working. Appears Al has a lot on going challenges. I agree completely it's just sad. Why not just say great job and work harder to beat us? All is putting in the work and he is more than capable winning this year or next year. I think he had a very busy schedule with work and life. But he is always at the top. I agree with you, he is working "Hard" at it.

If it were up to me my friend, I really would use the 1/3 but as Rusty said and I know you have seen this, the other leader has a preference of what time they want to use. Usually it's 3/7. I try to get 3/3 and the leaders who agree are I am friendly with and they are good leaders. But that is not used often. All leaders have their preference.

Sometime soon I'd like a game if you have time my friend.

So a time-frame has to be agreed from both sides. That means either you only play opponents who are also interested in finishing within the mentioned four month or the rules have to be chnaged that clan matches may not exceed 373. Lets see if that would be the last nail in the coffin of the clan system.
