Have you talked to all of the Clan Leader in the smaller clans to see what they thought about combining clans?
Have you talked to any of them about checking out Greeters Section to see if players could be found there, or are they simply not interested in making a competitive Clan?

Excellent idea! Someone should talk with them and let them know, it would be nice to have other clans being able to compete for the Clan Championship. That would make for a lot of fun every year. Less Clans better quality would certainly be an improvement, no one can deny that I would hope! We can never Count Metallica out in any year as we know!!

A short tournament - typically played in the middle of another long season. The NBA is doing it. All soccer leagues in the world play a smaller cup tournament during the season for extra interest.
The goal here is creating more interest in the clan feature.
We get 13 clans to commit to playing in the cup. Each clan has to play the other 12 clans 75 or 100 games over the course of the year. Those 800-1200 games are your cup season. When you are done you are done. At the end of the year we see who won the most games. Cup champion. Everyone has played the exact same amount of games against the exact same competition.

So far it is in the talking process. Nothing is confirmed or even been voted on as of yet. I don't see why one clan couldn't win 1200 winning the cup and then win the 1rst Place in the Clan Challenge, unless there are going to be rules on top of rules not even agreed to by all clans yet. 12 clans is a start, nothing saying Metallica and Breaking Bad and other clans couldn't be involved in both. Then what do you do if the Same Clan wins both, look for another way to win something???

Correct, we would need a separate clan rating and that would just help the manipulation, not completely stop it. who is to say the clans that get together will play ever other Clan???
As I have suggested this Cup idea is just something so a few clans can get together and win something. For playing 1200 games!!!! Bad idea as everyone knows that is how I feel about it. Clans will get together and just play each other to ensure they win something. VERY UNDER HANDED!!!!
