Reagan sold weapons to both sides in a war that saw 2,000,000 people killed. Throughout his administration, he supported terror tactics like men-women-children 'whole-family-executions' and assassination of priests through training and arms supplies and political cover in numerous countries such as Nicaragua and East Timor. And so on and so forth. Couldn't you find anyone else's musings to cite with regard to the mystery and sanctity of human life? Just saying.

So you literally did not know anyone else you could quote?

"Immaterial" to you, and yet 'material' enough for you to attribute a very generic idea to him specifically by name. Fair enough, I suppose. Do you think his name adds some gravitas or extra traction to the generic idea that you have quoted him on?

It's a compromise between my own deeply held personal ideas as they pertain to myself and my family, on one hand, and my unwillingness to see my perspectives or sensibilities imposed upon those I live amongst [especially women], on the other. Having said that, abortion is illegal in the country where I currently live, and while part of my work involves addressing issues and problems that affect women, legalizing abortion is on the political backburner, relatively speaking.

Does his track record elsewhere with regard to the 'sanctity of life' add to or subtract from the gravitas of the "idea" about life that you say he was the source of - and that nobody else thought of - as far as you know?

And then what? Impose that on everybody else?
