i could paint pictures with the broadest brush
one color at a time
but worldly hues are not reflected thus
intricate detail is often missed
and the echo of one fine line
Bend down, and there it is:
No need to wrest it from others.
With the Way, in complete agreement
The mere touch of a hand is spring:
The way we come upon blooming flowers,
The way we see the year renew itself
What comes this way will stay;
What is gotten by force will drain away.
A secluded person in an empty mountain,
As raindrops, picks some blades of duckweed.
Freely to feel the flash of dawn:
Leisurely, with the celestial balance.

Wise listeners, the wisdom of enlightenment is inherent in each of us.
We fail to recognize it because of delusion of mind,
and so to know our own essence of Mind we seek the teachings of the enlightened.
If you wish to enter the one vehicle,
Do not be repelled by the sense realm.
With no aversion to the sense realm,
You become one with true enlightenment.
The wise have no motives;
Fools put themselves in bondage.
One dharma is not different from another.
Mahamati, the bodhisattva cultivates the path by practicing the four ways.
The first is to see that all that exists appears from the mind.
The three realms of existence cannot exist independent of the mind.
The realms originate from the idea of "I" and "mind."
They are never in a state of going or coming, but because of enduring habits,
which developed a long time ago, they appear as the three realms.
Thus, we must see that all things that exist,
actions, words, bondage,
the human body, treasures
or places of residence
are all the results of discrimination.
Discard thoughts on arising, abiding, and perishing and to see that all is like a dream.
This is because there is nothing that came into being by itself, nor is there anything created by another.
Furthermore, nothing comes about through itself and others.
Things are the creation of one's mind and they have no substance.
