Well I can. The answer is no.

Instead of wasting your time watching such ridiculous content, why not use your time to educate yourself.

So you found information refuting all of this.

No, I did not. I do not need to. One does not need evidence refuting something to know whether or not it is a reasonable proposition.

Have you ever used this argument in any post in the Spirituality forum?

That was just a joke. Sorry if you are offended by joking around.

If aliens wanted to attack us, the way we would find out is a large hunk of matter
screams in from space at a ridiculous fraction of the speed of light causing an
impact explosion so powerful that it melts the Earth's crust, and throws enough
debris into space that the Earth develops rings.

No warning, no panic, no 'hidden truth conspiracies', just instant and total annihilation.

Has that happened?

No, of course it hasn't.

Therefore, we are not under alien attack.

Yes, I probably have. Not in those exact words and I don't recall and exact instance, but I almost certainly have used it.
Do you have a problem with it?

And its not so much an argument as an observation.

Or just put out the sun, that would do us in pretty quickly.

Have you any reason why you think they will do the obvious?
Maybe it's just a frontrunner of something that will follow.
It all depends on what "they" are aiming to do in the long run.

Do you have any reason why you think 'they' exist at all? Let us suppose there is some phenomenon that we don't understand. What are the possible explanations you can think of:
1. Your information is incorrect and the phenomenon didn't actually take place.
2. There is a rational explanation for the phenomenon without invoking anything extraordinary.
3. Some nefarious government agency is responsible.
4. God or some other supernatural force is at work.
5. Aliens did it.

Why do you think 5. is a reasonable option and why do you think it should be in the list at all? What about the phenomenon would indicate specifically a non-earthbound intelligence?

(and please don't say that some anonymous guy on YouTube told you so, so it must be true).

(nor is 'but you haven't ruled it out' a valid answer).

And the advice about online courses was in all seriousness. I think that everyone should avail themselves of the remarkable opportunity that is online learning. I am currently in the middle of two courses. One from MIT via edx on transcription of DNA and another from Yale on the history of the Early Middle Ages via Yale Open Courseware which you can find on YouTube.

I am just watching the videos and not doing all the exercises etc but I am still learning a lot. I have in the past done a number of courses on a wide range of subjects on edx where I did pursue the certificates (and passed).

I did sciences at University and was largely ignorant of other subjects. Online learning has enabled me to further my science education in areas I am interested in as well as venture into unfamiliar territory in other subjects.

Did I say I believed they exist at all?
I started a post about info on the internet, and I wondered what the rest of you thought about it, I wasn't asking for some quirky remarks coming from someone who usually thinks he's a knowitall. Please don't assume things you like to use in attacks on other posters.
