I wouldn't even consider offering one, your position is so full of holes.

Bigger holes than this even 😀

Elementary my dear Diet! You must get in Nc3 before opening the a8-h1 diagonal and the c file. Both Qb3 and Nc3 are probably best before cd and definately before Qxb7.

In progress so no comments either than I am glad to see you took the advice above on board (or learnt from your previous error) for this game.

I will watch it with anticipation although even I do not try the Grob in a serious game against a 2000+ player (except OTB of course).

I was wondering if the rest of you concur about that sentiment or have other ideas.

Here's the link to the game, he beat the author of, "The Killer Grob":

In my opinion, it's h4. 😲 This is called the Deprez opening.

1.h4 shows a remarkable lack of understanding of the basics of chess.

If someone played it against me OTB I think I'd slap them or laugh out loud, depending of what sort of day I'd had.
It's either worryingly stupid or very patronising.

I think that in first move white can afford almost anything and get at least equal play. One of the main pluses of unortodoux moves is that black often thinks that they can punish easily such odd moves and it can lead to careless play.

indeed, even worse than 1. h4, as h4 does not leave any squares unattended to on the kingside, where 1. g4 severely cripples the squares: f3 and f4...
h3 and h4 are even worse off, as they will never be defended by a white pawn for the rest of the game (except, of course, for hxg3)
but I don't think white could POSSIBLY think about 1. g4 and a future 0-0...
it's just suicide

Here we go again.

It is so very bad these are my results from 49 games.

W 45 D 3 L 1

The sole loss was to Korch, a true master of defense.
