Just on general principles, I hate to see a nice chess site shut down.

I don't recall seeing Chesshere before now, but it looks like it was a good site with a clean design.

I'm guessing they got bought out by another site?
I've heard of big sites doing that.

Think they would've mentioned that. Also they wouldn't need to close the site. There are/were 3 subscription options … 3 months/$24...1 year/$49...3 years/$108

Currently there appear to be 3 3 month subscribers and 29 subscribers of at least 1 year.
