At the moment I'm hearing Snarky Puppy's "Lingus" in my head, but I'd rather say that in the past week or so I have been playing some music videos by Yuki Chiba and some new pieces by WONK (Tokyo) -- maybe I'll just link one or two of each, sumimasen:
Yuki Chiba -- "Team Todomachi"
(Yuki Chiba) & VALORANT -- "Shinpai Muyou"
WONK -- "Signal" (live)
WONK -- "Essence" (live)
Here's another nice recent one: Mon Rovia -- "Heavy Foot"
This is how I learned about Yuki Chiba (Japanese rapper):
One night in my Instagram feed there were a couple of items from Nagithespcstppr (Nagi the Shibuya public crossing stepper?) and his dance crew from Shibuya at 4 A.M. (btw, from his videos I learned that in summer the sky gets light over there between 4 and 5 A.M.!)
Well, here is one of those:

After several replays, I wondered where to find the original song/track, which led me to:
And here is Nagi's page in general for any who might be interested:

For me it's amusing and comforting and life-improving to think that at 4 PM local time over here, Nagi and crew might be dancing in Shibuya on the other side of the planet in the wee hours.
As for Yuki Chiba, I have learned he has had a difficult life, so it's great to see the success he is having now. I think he is famous enough that his tracks and remixes would be easy to find on YouTube for anyone who might be interested.
I have already posted a couple of videos by Yuki, but also wanted to give Nagi some credit and appreciation.
@Paul-Martin saidGood heavens! What else is on her playlist? "Meet Me in the Woods" by Lord Huron? π

I gave it a watch and don't regret it, but I would only give it about two or three stars out of five. The song isn't really that catchy and although the cinematography was great and the video was subtly amusing, I just don't see myself watching it ever again.
But of course young people need to find their own music, no matter how much their elders might misunderstand or disparage it. π
Oh, yeah. I also meant to post a couple of tracks related to the Hallowe'en season in the Northern Hemisphere (which I gather might be weird for people in the Southern Hemisphere where it's springtime). October goes by so quickly over here, though.
The Alan Parsons Project -- "Old and Wise"
Kate Bush -- "Jig of Life"
Probably a little too early in the month for "The Raven" -- let's leave that one for a little later.
@Arkturos
Ever hear of Ida Presti and Alexander Lagoya?
ABSOLUTELY outstanding classical guitar duo, they met at a concert where both were playing and they soon got married.
This in the 1940's and in the 70's Julian bream and John Williams did a record called Julian and John, a direct shoutout to Ida and Alex.
Word on the street is Ida NEVER made a mistake playing guitar.
Anyway here they are, about 16 minutes. See if you can tell which one is Ida and which is Alexπ
