I myself, in my home, have a poor breakfast - ryebread toast with marmalade, two cups of caffe latte. It's not even close to how we should start the day, but it makes me happy.

@lemondropsaid that's an old man's breakfast
for me
pop tarts and black coffee
Call it what you wish, much more healthy than your Breakfast! π
A pop-tart consists of corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose and sugar- all extremely harmful sugars known to cause Type 2 diabetes, strokes, heart attacks, cancer, dementia, and fatty liver. Just so you know what your taking into your body each day!

@great-big-steessaid OK. Who's up for a good Canadian breakfast, fried (easy over), double yolked eggs, fried pork sausages or "back" bacon, fried potatoes (with onions), toasted Rye bread, pancakes (or egg-battered French Toast) and syrup, cereals, or hot oatmeal, sprinkled with brown sugar. I'm cookin'. π
Yes, please. All of that. Some substitutions, though. You can take off the pancakes, I'll have the French Toast instead, without syrup. Including small bowl of oatmeal, no brown sugar, include a sliced small banana instead. And oh, yeah, instead of Rye, toast me up some whole grain wheat bread. I have to power through a gruelling workout later. I'm at my fighting weight and could use the fuel.
Thanks, Steve. It's been a long time since a man cooked for me. π
