Kudos for knowing the facts.
I'm not going to expand upon esoteric spiritualism in this forum. But, I will say that I believe the Bible is, like Schliemann proved with Homer, best viewed as a written historical reference to the late Iron Age.

-Removed-In a former life I was a Big-Apple New Yorker, and before that a scholar during the Tang Dynasty.
I was in Canada for about four hours when I was a kid (in the present incarnation).
I have lived in or visited a bunch of states in the US (covering quite a large range north to south and east to west), many of which do seem like other countries.
I also do not have a passport -- a situation which I should correct sometime soon for the sake of traveling to other lands.
Maybe it's just a function of necessity or proximity to national borders whether someone has a passport or not.
