And that little trade war with China that made post COVID insufferable because the logistics of trade had been given a kick in the wazoo??
Let's discuss that. Then we can discuss Xi's upbringing, and then veer off to the Taiwan matter.

He wrote checks to everyone from the US Treasury and ballooned $8 trillion debt, and you are praising it. Nice!
Can't kid a kidder. You did not close your post...not a word about the Covid crisis. BTW, had hat not happened, he would have won election.
It is funny how you Libs pretend to know all about how economics and the budget work in Washington DC

@AverageJoe1 There is an ongoing investigation. I believe our justice system will prevail. If Biden is guilty of corruption, we will find out. So far there is no smoking gun.
Correct. But might I rephrase,,,,,'whre there is smoke, there is fire'.

It is quite astounding, that you liberals just bury your head in the sand about what is going on in the Biden family.
"he loves his son!!" Gag me with a spoon.

The question, if you have all forgotten, which you obviously have, is that he was hired for nothing and paid millions of dollars. Secondly, that Joe has been proven to have received $5 million. Neither of your answers above mentioned these two things which are the whole crux of the question. So again, you cannot even answer a question about the burdens as yo ...[text shortened]... money on selling his houses. I do that every year. It has nothing to do with the questions at hand.
While there are a lot of companies that put rich folks and celebrities on their Board of Directors to do little work, Burisma actually gave a reason for Hunter's hiring that you and other right wingers have ignored:

"The company, Burisma Holdings, announced Biden's appointment on its website Tuesday. Burisma said Biden would be the new head of the company's legal unit."

https://www.businessinsider.com/hunter-biden-joes-son-ukraine-gas-company-burisma-holdings-2014-5

Hunter graduated from Yale Law School in 1996 and worked at one of the most prestigious law firms in Washington, Boies Schiller Flexner. In addition, he had worked in the US Commerce Department in the 1990s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_Biden

So the claim he had no qualifications for his hiring by Burisma is BS. That, of course, does not mean his last name wasn't a factor as well.

"Since the golden age of Hollywood, big names have been tapped by companies to serve on their board of directors, bringing their perspective to the boardroom. Cary Grant was famously a director for Fabergé, a collectibles company known for its bedazzled enamel eggs, and Joan Crawford was a director for Pepsi-Cola. Grace Kelly served on the board of Twentieth Century–Fox. More recently, actor turned investor Ashton Kutcher has served on the boards of various tech and media companies, including Vox Media, as has Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who just last year added a diabetes nonprofit board to her résumé.

The strategy of adding a celebrity to the board extends beyond cinema stars. Pro athletes from Michael Jordan to Shaquille O’Neal to Dwyane Wade have parlayed their on-court savviness to board seats at companies ranging from Oakley sunglasses (Jordan) to Pizza Hut (O’Neal) to Jeeter, a cannabis company (Wade). Musicians, social media influencers, and media personalities all find their way to the boardroom."

So;, the MAIN reason for hiring him was not his name?
With all the 'energy lawyers' in the world, they rather picked him because of some casual sentence in his resume'.
You thus say they hired him as HEAD!!!,... Head of the billion dollar company's legal unit. Jesus, your creds are now zero.
