But he was on his way to becoming a staunch conservative, so maybe he exaggerated. 😆
We could get almost any kind of protection we wanted, including the pill, and even treatment for STDs without contacting your parents. Usually gonorrhea or chlamydia or UTIs, anything worse they sent those to the University Hospital. Word always seemed to leak out though about who had what, so those who kept their ears open were usually forewarned. Not so much stigma about it either.
