@mott-the-hoople saidJuries don't rule on preliminary injunctions.
we have a jury system for such cases as this...this judge of yours is being totalitarian in his actions.

@dood111 saidIn theory, yes.
You are right!
Good thing police officers in the USA have ALWAYS been subject to judicial review.
(I'm sure you'll find some nit-picky BS to contradict that)
@no1marauder saidMarauder is losing it๐๐ค .”....police SHOULD BE immune from review”. Uhhh, maybe those in N Korea, Cuba, China, Russia. Marauder, i am trying to hang my hat on your comments, it ain’t easy.
The idea that police should be immune from any judicial review is more appropriate for a totalitarian dictatorship than a democratic republic based on Lockean principles of individual rights.
@mott-the-hoople saidThen your comment "we have a jury system for such cases as this" doesn't make much sense, does it?
never said they did
@averagejoe1 saidIt's best to read the comments I am responding to to understand the context of my remarks.

@no1marauder saidmakes all the sense in the world, unless you are stupid.

@no1marauder saidI guess I’m not into demonstrations, the walking in the street stuff. They don’t exactly follow the Martin Luther king rules, anymore, ,,,,so, I have to say the marchers usually ‘have it coming ‘, and should be in jail. Sorry ,sounds rough to tender ears. Tough love we call it.

@mott-the-hoople saidNever read the Constitution, eh?
as I said...an activist judge
@averagejoe1 saidAre they "uppity"? Is that your point?

@mott-the-hoople saidYou really can't see the difference? Really?
makes all the sense in the world, unless you are stupid.
It was my point that cases like this should proceed through the normal court process. Instead this activist judge stepped in when there was no rush.
remember when those acitivist judges were striking down Trumps orders, banning travel from china? now biden bans travel from india and not a peep out of them, not even labeled xenophobic as biden himself said.
@suzianne saidWhat is the difference, if I may ask? Hoping that you keep personalities and favoritism and such as that out of your answer?
You really can't see the difference? Really?
@averagejoe1 saidshe will never explain the difference because there is none.
