The bombing of Serbia and no fly zone imposed on Gadaffi ( not invasion as there was not one ) was carried out to support a UN resolution and to prevent greater civilian deaths.
Russia is breaking every UN policy in the book with its unwarranted war of expansion in Ukraine.

NATO's bombing of Serbia in 1998 was not authorized by the UN. And it violated international law:

"NATO countries attempted to gain authorisation from the UN Security Council for military action, but were opposed by China and Russia, who indicated that they would veto such a measure. As a result, NATO launched its campaign without the UN's approval, stating that it was a humanitarian intervention. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force except in the case of a decision by the Security Council under Chapter VII, or self-defence against an armed attack – neither of which were present in this case.[31]"

Russia cannot trust the USA and NATO. Get that through your head. They promised Russia they would not expand NATO and they did it anyway.

Russia had to draw the line somewhere. They really didn't have a choice. Their existence is at stake.

Well you would know wouldn’t you, why do you suppose the MAD doctrine that worked for 50 yrs would not work now.
Do you think that Putin is mentally I’ll enough to see his entire country turned to ash? Do you think that the generals who would have to initiate the nuclear Holocaust would follow his command to incinerate their beloved homeland?
I think he’s more evil than Ill plus he’s a bully and bullies only target the weak and defenceless.
