They cannot deny it forever. It will come out eventually, but it really already has. The odds of a natural origin is 2.78%, so that makes the lab origin at over 93% likely.

“The insertion sequence of choice is the double CGG,” wrote Quay, the founder of Atossa Therapeutics, and Muller, a former top scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory who now teaches physics at the University of California’s Berkeley campus.

It is almost certainly genetically engineered. Over a 93% certainty. That is why Fauci (along with Biden, Trump and Redfield) admits it is possible. They know it will be confirmed eventually, so they make sure they say it should be investigated to cover their asses.
