@metal-brain saidBeing a jerk isn’t a crime. Holding people’s careers hostage to pressure them to have non-consensual sex is.
I should not have to put up with jerks at work either. No person should ever have to quit a job in order not to put up with such crap, but the people that do enable jerks to keep being jerks. If everyone quit working for jerks there would be less cads pulling that crap.
Higher ups should be jerks at all. It is totally unacceptable behavior in the workplace.
What part of “duress” eludes you? One too many syllables?

Having to deal with sexual predators at work is another thing entirely.
Why are you having such a hard time with this?
@suzianne saidIf I can quit because a woman is a jerk, you can quit because a man is a jerk. Sexual predators are jerks too. If I will quit because I hate the way I am treated why shouldn't you quit because of the way you are treated?

Are men not allowed to claim they were held hostage to women jerks? Both have to put up with crap unless they quit. Failing to quit is the source of your problem. Why should I feel sorry for you because you felt obligated to be a whore to keep your job? I have quit jobs, why can't you?
@moonbus saidAny cad who mistreats you at work is imposing duress. It doesn't matter what kind of duress it is. Quit the job to send a message to them. Is that so hard?
