You need to remember that Tucker Carlson did not lose his job from FOX because he lied about the election. Pirro was the one main person named in the lawsuit and she kept her job. FOX settled by choice when all they had to do was say "we relied on the report from Antrim County so why are you suing us?".
FOX clearly could have won that lawsuit and paid nothing. They paid it by choice to mislead people into thinking Tucker lied when he did not. People are not flawed for accepting a report when there is no evidence it is false.
Prove the allegations the report was a pack of lies is true. Allegations are not facts.

People do not believe things because they are true. Truth is not causitive of belief. This is a fundamental point of epistemology which most people simply don't get. I've been over this a dozen times with @KellyJay on Spirituality, and he still doesn't get it. The actually operative psychological mechanisms involved in coming to believe something have nothing to do with truth. Truth is what people allege AFTER they have already made the psychological commitment TO believe something, but is never the reason WHY they believe. The obvious proof of that is that there are countless truths which people do NOT believe.

Technically Carlson did not get fired. He was under contract so FOX still had to pay him. That appears to not be rational thought too. FOX chose to lose money on 3 fronts, not just one.
FOX is a propaganda outlet. Carlson was undoing their propaganda goals just like Donahue did. To suggest they do not give up millions to make trillions is illogical. FOX serves the shareholders of the Federal Reserve System. A billion dollars is pocket change for them.
