I agree that is should take the majority of clan members because when a better system arrives it may seem liberating to some and restrictive to others but the cream will always rise to the top.

Change is needed to make things more competitive, I have always understood that, but should be decided among All the players, I think @Bish would agree on that also. I don't know his poll will do much except to show there is interest in it. We really need every player to vote and that can be organized by each Clan Leader and just give as one Vote. I believe the Majority of Clan Leaders to be honest People.
Only 13 votes as of this post but 92% showing interest means the interest is indeed there!!!

I don't know how to reach all active clan members - so a Public Poll in the forum dedicated to clan play seemed like a good start.
It we really want change, it is up to clan leaders to reach out to other clan leaders they are friendly with and tell them this poll is here. All clan leaders can send a message to their members asking them to vote here. We have 6 more days - this is a grassroots level effort.

The idea is good, it is just everyone should have a say in it. I was saying that the individual Clan leaders could have a vote in their clans once they knew what the structure was going to be of the new format so everyone knows exactly what is going and no suprises arise. That way everyone knows what they are votiing for. The clan leaders could then give the results of the Vote in their individual clans.
It is good for everyone to know exactly what is being presented as a new option. I am sure you agree.
Unfortunatel as Dave stated not everyone Clan Leaders and players look at the Clan Forums!!! I am nosey I check most of the forums out that involve chess play. I don't bother much with Debates, and some other forums.

Why would you get a thumb down for saying you would also like the majority of clan members to vote? Seems someone only wants Clan Leaders to vote forgetting it is a Clan/TEAM not a one man show!!!!

Yes, you are engaged, doing great, and having fun ... guys like us will always have that!!!
I think we are here to have fun at the end of the day. I know I have fun and thank God for every day at this stage in my life. I also believe we all want things to be as competitive as possible as it may attract new people.
We all have different ideas on how to accomplish this and that is where the problems arise. I don't see the Clan Leaders making decisions for everyone as you your self have said and I believe you are a Clan Leader also. I 've never heard you say anything about backing another Clan!!! 😉

@Very-Rusty saidas of now Metallica and Al's teams have a lot more challenges than I do and 18 to 23 teams less that play BB than Metallica and Al's team. We struggle far more there than other teams. We have had to learn to play without A LOT of teams who do not play us and the number is much less for us which means less points. We will go along the season like this and at some point Metallica will go ahead and that will be it. I said before the season we would take second. Lets see if I'm right at the end.
Everything is fair, just Metallica and Breaking Bad are able to play more challenges than the rest on the Clans. Even Metallica don't have as many clans play them as they use to have. Breaking Bad did at least while I was there have more clan playing them than any other clan.
I agree something has to be done, BUT what ever it is has to be accepted by the majority of p;l ...[text shortened]... lan Leaders.
I believe Russ would go with what the majority decided as he has in the past!
