One of the problems with rape is that if there is no scarring or physical proof of it, it is notoriously hard to prove.

And “just believing women” is obviously not an option; just as just believing men can’t be an option either.
And in the case of man on woman rape, in a his word vs her word, one has to fall back on “Innocent until proven guilty”.

This, in turn, makes investing police resources (which need to score positive results) onto rape cases a low-return investment… which means that without a clear cut case, there’s little urgency to do a proper investigation.

And that’s the wider problem in a nutshell.

Now, what to do about it?

    From the BBC:

One student described the campus as "lawless, utter anarchy", with demonstrators breaking the building's windows to enter, before blocking the doors with furniture.

    Hahahaha

    UTTER ANARCHY INDEED!!
Blocking the door with furniture… really brings down governments and activates the horse riders of the apocalypse…

    God damn. Hahaa

I said the protests should be put down.
I said nothing about young people.

As you mention that these young people who come out and support terrorism and Hamas should be prosecuted according to the law.
They are out protesting Israel, not supporting Hamas.

Nonsense. People have a right to apply for asylum, and the receiving country can accept or reject as they see fit. There is no law that can force a country to accept asylum seekers.

100% of the problems in the MidEast and Africa or any part of the world for that matter is caused by stupidity, poor decision making and corruption. The interference by the Western colonial ...[text shortened]... t be regurgitating sophomore college rubbish, and lame excuses about why African countries are poor.
I didn’t say a country can’t reject an asylum request.

    READ before blurting out nonsense.

Well let’s send them back to France then, simples
    Uh, no.
    You can't.

They're requesting asylum in Britain, so Britain has the obligation to house them while they process the request.

And that's why Britain has thought up this marvelous plan to house them in Rwanda.
    Like you do...

No. They’re coming to the UK because a) they see the UK as the best place for them to live, and/or b) because they’ve been refused asylum in the EU.
    The latter is obviously correct.
The first is a dodgy statement. Why would they come over Europe to get to Britain?

The majority of refugees ask for asylum in the first country they arrive in.

It’s not like fleeing a country is fun or that people smugglers are nice people you want to hang around with.

Large scale illegal immigration should be stopped dead in its tracts. I can understand a few people being persecuted and need to leave the country. Hundreds or thousands or millions ... NFW... Stop them. Send them back. Investige why this is happening. Offer some help. Eg there is a ruthless government maybe Islamic Extremists took over the country and killing nonMuslim ...[text shortened]... nd help set up a democratic government.

You cannot destroy your house and then come live in mine.
It’s not illegal immigration if a refugee is requesting asylum. It’s international law.

90% of the problems jn the Middle-East and Africa were created by the West interfering there. One doesn’t presume the answer is in even more interference, eh.

    Why only one?
Why don’t they settle in ANY of the EU countries?
How can they be “refugees” when they are coming from EU countries?
Why is the UK so much more attractive than EU countries that they risk their lives to get here?
Why should the UK take hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants whom the EU won’t take?

    Etc etc …
No. The Schengen agreement states that you can ask ayslum in 1 Schengen country. And if that’s rejected, you can can’t ask for asylum in another Schengen country.

So, these refugees ask for asylum in Europe (one of the Schengen countries), if the request is rejected (which happens on an individual basis and is therefore hard to say anything useful about) then the refugee has to return home or request asylum in a non-Schengen country.

If they’re coming to England via Europe, that’s probably what’s happening, don’t you think?

"The FBI defines terrorism, according to U.S. law, specifically 18 U.S.C., section 2331, which defines terrorism, both domestic and international, as any activity that is violent, or dangerous to human life, which violates federal or state law, and appears to be intended to: Intimidate or coerce a civilian population"

these campus >protestors< fit this definition
All protests can fit that description.
Which obviously undermines the use of it.

What I keep hearing from republicans is that if trump wins, it’s a fair election and that if Biden wins, it is a rigged election.

Considering their reaction to the 2020 election, I can safely say that the propaganda, should Biden win, will not olay out well.

What an absolutely dumb analogy. You are blind. Does Hamas follow after democracy with their own people? Why would they follow democracy with the Jews who they hate and want to kill? Are you really that gullible?

No, you are not. What you appear to be is a supporter of Sharia Law, and a Jew hater, disguising yourself as someone trying to achieve a peaceful solution ...[text shortened]... nd your solution is to get them full control of Palestine ? Losers making demands !!! Amazing.

You constantly deal in the collective over the individual, you constantly blame a whole group of people for decisions they, themselves, didn't make.

I'll be saving this post and ejaculating it in your face every time you do. You wont have to wait long for my big hot load.

Did these moderates come out and condemn Hamas?
    No.
    Silence implies consent.

They are reaping what they sow.
    Yes, yes they did.
And did various Islamic lands help with the intervention against Iranian drones? Yes, yes they did.
