The question of whether Jesus spoke Greek has been debated among scholars.

Are there any scholars here which can shed light on what the debate was all about?

As a primer, the following was gleaned by Wikipedia:

There exists a consensus among scholars that the language of Jesus and his disciples was Aramaic. Aramaic was the common language of Judea in the first cen ...[text shortened]... ve to Judea. It is reasonable to assume that Jesus was well versed in Hebrew for religious purposes.
    Did Jesus speak Greek?

It's quite possible. Scripture would suggest Jesus was better educated than the average Jewish tradesman. In addition, Greek was a respected and widely used language in the region.

A tax evasion witness.?? What has that got to do with this case? What crime was Trump trying to conceal, anyway. That has not been made clear.
The trouble for Trump is this minefield, one slip of tongue, (and he does a lot of talking) could backfire on him, and we could lose it.
If Biden wins, are y'all going to make us house the immigrants, legal and ille ...[text shortened]... liberalized. Everyone would indeed, at the end of the day, all end up in the same place. Brrrrrr
I'm sure its puzzling to you Joe, but the prosecutions documented and taped evidence paints a very clear picture of fraud and election interference.

This is simple-to-read, ( No Marauder Links!!) The Trial For Dummies (I made that up).

Here is the last paragraph, if you are worn out from SHouse posts. It makes the point.

""After taking a long, hard look at potential state charges against Trump stemming from the pay ...[text shortened]... and treating it as 34 felonies stretches the bounds of credulity as well as the bounds of the law.""
Dear Joe - Quoting a grand total of one (1) carefully handpicked fringe website clarifies absolutely nothing.

If Trump is as squeaky clean as he claims, this trial should be no big deal, so let the legal process work Joe, it's worked reasonably well for nearly 250 years. 😲

If possible, please take a look at [=https://beta.redhotpawn.com]Beta.RedHotPawn.com[/] for a preview of the upcoming web site update, and to help test all functionality prior to the deployment of this update.

Any feedback, please post below. Thanks.
This looks pretty nice. I'll be back here to rejoin and compete before the end of the year. My recent OTB events have been fun, but travel expense and adjusting my schedule around tournament dates doesn't always work for me. Correspondence chess is looking more appealing.

Good job on the site makeover. 🙂

    No, it is not.

If I or anyone else had cheated on their state or federal taxes, falsified business records, incited an armed mob to storm the Capital building, where they bashed in windows, kicked in doors, killed and injured police officers. If I had stolen government documents, then refuse to give them back despite multiple requests to do so. If I or anyone else had paid off pornstars and playmates to keep them quiet in order to suppress negative press in order to win an election. I or anyone else would have been sitting in a prison cell for at least the last 2 years - and would be staying there for a very long time.

This man has been treated like royalty by the criminal justice system and still he snivels and whines about being victimized. For the 1st time in decades, he's in a place where he doesn't get to make all the rules and has to answer to someone besides himself. Your delay tactics have run their course, and its finally time to face a jury of your peers. So, stop crying like a little child with a broken toy and deal with it! 😏

Is not scripture written by man, allowing for divine inspiration for the writing?

I was under the impression that logic is logic, no matter the source.

    How does scriptural logic work?
I was under the impression that logic is logic, no matter the source.

With all due respect, I'm not impressed with your impression. Human logic has its limitations, just as all humans do. God is limitless, using human logic to try to explain or understand God and/or his inspired word is futile.

Yes, I'm sure she should have been arrested, along with the others. She knew the rules and broke them. So, why are you making such a big deal out of this? People get arrested at protest rally's every week.

Seriously, who is interested in him? I think that we can definitely conclude that all presidential votes will be, quite simply, votes against Trump.
    Further, I sayeth not.
I'd be more concerned about the guy who's running for President in order escape multiple prison sentences, instead of who sells the most books. 😏

A real expert on reality made the following affirmation.

"The real world, was created by the real Jesus, who is the real Word of God, who entered into the real world He created, as the real incarnate Word of God made fully human."

    The above affirmation begs questioning.

Question: In what world was Jesus/God living before creating the 'real' world into which he cam ...[text shortened]... eality and truth, there are myriad illusions and myriad lies.

Illusions = Lies as Reality = Truth
It would seem logical to assume that in order to come into something, there must be something outside of the thing to come into.

This is just another case of trying to use human logic to explain something scriptural; as I've said here many times - - it doesn't work that way.

Because Trump is being improperly accused. Have you seen the news on it? Bragg has no jurisdiction with regard to a Federal law, and the misdemeanor's Statute of Limitations has run.
It was refreshing to see a normal question from the sonhouse. Thumb up from AJoe.

Probably any comparison, such as yours here, about interest in attending rallies and supporting Trump, are negatively impacted by the state of Biden economy, illegal immigrants, huge plundering of the treasury, watching Biden dictate to spend about 25,000 per person on tuition loans, when we all stand around with our mouth open, getting nothing. ….such as that. In the past, Trump has always been able to count on his supporters turning out en masse, from his signature rallies to the riot at the Capitol. But on Monday, at a pivotal moment for the MAGA movement and Trump’s campaign, the faithful were uncharacteristically quiet - and few in number.

Even among supporters so loyal they were drawn to an event publicized as a “rally for President Trump” organized by the New York Young Republican Club, the endless litany of Trump’s legal proceedings seemed to be wearing on them. More than two hours after the rally was scheduled to begin, demonstrators were still heavily outnumbered by hundreds of members of the news media, including from as far away as Germany.

Today crowds at Trump rallies are smaller and quieter, fundraising numbers now run far behind that of the Democrats, the ranks of "never Trump" Republicans are growing, and Trump's once solid lead in the polls has vanished. Weighed down by legal and fundraising woes, Trump and a fractured Republican party will need a big injection of new energy and money to defeat a more cohesive and better financed Democratic party if they expect to win in November.

You are the last person who could grasp the gambits of Trump. Note that he goes UP in popularity every time he is in the news for these travesties…., then note that he just miiiiiiiiiigghht have reasons for what he does.
then note that he just miiiiiiiiiigghht have reasons for what he does.

OK, please enlighten me (since you clearly know more than the rest of the people here) what are the reasons Trump might have to want to attack a judge who is presiding over this NY trial?

Quora is being completely disingenuous with that question.

Getting an education does NOT tend to turn people into conservatives. If anything, it tends to turn them into liberals by virtue of the fact that it gives them a wider view of the world beyond themselves. They become far less focused on themselves and they start to appreciate value in people and institutions outside the narrow, narcissistic focus they've had their entire lives up to that point.

    Is anyone listening to this?
