Yeah, the games don't affect your rating either. It's just for fun and to learn how to play the KG. It's like getting a free lecture on it 😀.

yea i stumbled across this tournament. And since i HATE this opening, i'm in. Might as well get some practice...

Does anyone else have any more bright ideas like set piece openings, for tournament purposes ? I would have no qualms learning new openings...

If you look back through the tournament pages, you will see ones with a "T" next to them. This means they are thematic. Clicking on them and having a good look through the higher rated players' games is always a good way of getting an idea about how certain openings should be played.
