Faith

Without faith, no one would get out of bed in the morning.

People have faith every time they drive a car (they have faith another driver won’t strike their car,) board an airplane (faith the pilot is qualified to fly and not drunk,) buy food at the supermarket (faith the food isn’t contaminated,) etc.

Without memory we have no consciousness so I think memory is probably the most important capacity. Offer that I’d go for love.

I was going to expand on that, but I won’t for now.

I figured you would’ve gone for taste buds and the ability to burp

So, thus far we have memory, faith and love.

That anything at all can be 'written on' any part of man--- and retained--- is mind-blowing.

Animals have ambition, but their ambition is more geared toward survival. Humans have the ambition to survive as well (individually and collectively,) and one could argue that motivates them more than anything. It’s said the two greatest motivators for humans are survival and procreation (in that order.)

Looking for argument? Go educate yourself.

Ambition in animals geared toward survival is not ambition. It is called instinct.
Basic survival in humans is not ambition, again it is called instinct.
Humans have instinct [survival and procreation], but that is not ambition.

We are talking about two different things.
Why am I not surprised.
